An established online store needed to move from WooCommerce to Shopify – without data loss and without weeks of downtime. Standard Excel exports quickly hit their limits: edge cases, voucher codes and historical orders couldn’t be transferred reliably that way.
Approach
We built a custom migration pipeline that reads, transforms and imports customer, order and product data as well as voucher codes into Shopify in a structured way. Every run was repeatable and logged, with edge cases handled deliberately.
Result
Over 100,000 customer records along with the complete order and product history were fully carried over – far more reliable and flexible than an Excel import, with minimal downtime during the switch.
